Established in 2020, Mermaid Subsea Services UK expanded its team in 2022 and continues to do so. Leading that team is Regional Director, Scott Cormack. A highly-experienced offshore energy leader, his track record spans all sectors of the international energy market.
That expertise, in conjunction with our skilled team of subsea experts, has established Mermaid Subsea Services UK as the market-leading diving, construction and decommissioning engineering and services company.

Regional Director
Combining technical expertise with energy market knowledge and a truly global network, Scott brings almost 30 years’ experience of the global offshore energy market to his role.
Joining the company in 2021, he has been instrumental in developing Mermaid Subsea Services UK, establishing its diving capability and achieving ISO accreditation. Scott has also been influential in developing the company’s collaborative, campaign approach to well P&A across the North Sea decom sector, resulting in a landmark multi-operator, multi-well campaign which has established MSSUK’s credentials in this field.
Together with a growing team of operational and commercial experts, Scott is committed to the continued development of Mermaid’s reputation as the subsea sector’s leading collaborative partner
